A Reborn Race

October 7, 2011, by KCM 4 comments

The thought that every born-again believer can operate in the power of THE BLESSING the same way Jesus or the early apostles did, amazes many Christians. They struggle to picture themselves multiplying natural resources (like loaves and fish), healing the sick or raising the dead. Yet, in the Bible, Jesus emphatically declared that any person with simple faith in Him could do all those things and more:

  • “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” (John 14:12)
  • “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” (verses 13-14)
  • “If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” (Matthew 17:20)
  • “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” (Mark 16:17-18)

A Supernatural Picture of Peace

September 15, 2011, by KCM 3 comments

You don’t have to be a financial genius to see that right now the world’s economy is under assault. With people talking about recession, depression and inflation everywhere you turn, it’s easy to get the picture—and it’s not very pretty. In fact, it’s downright dark.

But, thank God, if you’re a believer that picture doesn’t include you. The Bible assures you of it. It says to those who have been born again:

You aren’t in the dark…dear brothers and sisters…. For you are all children of the light and of the day; we don’t belong to darkness and night. So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay alert and be clearheaded. Night is the time when people sleep…. But let us who live in the light be clearheaded, protected by the [body] armor of faith and love… (1 Thessalonians 5:4-8, New Living Translation).

Isn’t it wonderful to know that even in the midst of an embattled economy, we can live in peace? We can strap on our faith/love body armor and prosper—no matter what’s happening around us. We can be like the soldiers we see on television who wear their protective gear and stay safe right in the middle of a combat zone.

Reaching Milestones-Reaching More People in Europe

September 12, 2011, by KCM 1 comment

Jesus ist Herr! That’s German for Jesus is Lord. And it’s the tag line for the next milestone KCM Europe has set to accomplish in its outreach to the people of Europe through the airing of the Believer’s Voice of Victory television broadcast in the German language.

KCM Europe Executive Director Martin Hawkins and his ministry team have taken major steps in 2011 toward that goal.

On May 7, BVOV made its English language debut on the German television station Das Vierte. The program airs weekly on Saturday and is repeated on Sunday. The KCM Europe staff has worked alongside the U.S. television production staff to supply content that will bring the life-changing message of Christ to the German language airways.

Ultimately, the goal is that the broadcast be aired not only in Germany, but also in other German-speaking areas of Europe.

Hawkins says, “We are grateful to God for this new outreach opportunity and give glory to the Name of Jesus that KCM has begun a new phase of ministry to German-speaking people. Thanks to all our KCM worldwide Partners and Friends for standing with us as we complete what God has called us to do to reach this milestone.”

KCM Europe’s first step in reaching German-speaking people has been mailing BVOV magazines in the German language—bimonthly since 2002, and monthly since February 2006. Over 70 KCM titles have also been translated into German and a new website launched—kcm.org.uk/de—where everyone can access the basic elements of KCM’s ministry, the BVOV magazine in both German and English, and partnership information.

KCM Partners With Feed the Hungry to Aid Japan

March 21, 2011, by KCM 1 comment

Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and the Kenneth Copeland Ministries family of Partners across America and around the world, join our faith and financial resources with the Feed the Hungry organization to bring restoration, healing and hope to the people of Japan. In the wake of the natural disasters that hit Japan a few days ago, people are in need of a number of resources as basic as clean water, food and shelter.

This is our opportunity, as Christ’s ambassadors (2 Corinthians 5:20), to represent Jesus and His love to the people of Japan. As we read in 1 John 4:12, New Living Translation, “No one has ever seen God, but if we love each other, God lives in us, and His love is brought to full expression in us.” We can live the words of that scripture today.

As we stand with Feed the Hungry, we are helping to respond to this natural disaster by helping local churches and disaster relief teams that are currently on the ground in Japan. Also, financial gifts in the form of Emergency Fund Transfers will provide much needed water, ready-to-eat foods, formula, diapers and other relief aid for immediate distribution to families across that nation.

Here are a few examples of what our partnership as a team of faith will support:

  • Bases to distribute aid already active in Fukushima, North and South Sendai, Minami, Sanrikucho, Morioka and Hachinohe
  • Basic items such as baby food, formula, food, water and blankets
  • Containers of rice and soy meal to provide more than 500,000 meals, supply hygiene kits, and other personal-care items

We invite you to join with us by donating directly to Feed the Hungry to help in this relief work. Please use the following link to participate, https://www.feedthehungry.org/Donations/JapanquakeKCM.cfm.

Questions and Answers About Healing — Kenneth Copeland Ministries

How Can I Apply God’s Word to My Life for Healing?

Applying God’s Word to our lives for our healing, or any other need, begins with the three guidelines God gave Israel’s new leader in Joshua 1:8: “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”

First, you must keep God’s Word in your mouth at all times. Agree with and say what the Bible says about your situation. If you need healing, talk about the healing Jesus gives you instead of how you feel (1 Peter 2:24). Jesus told a woman with a bleeding issue that her faith had made her whole (Mark 5). Her faith started with what she said, then she acted.

Next, control what you allow yourself to think about. God instructed Joshua to “meditate day and night” on the law (His Word through Moses). To meditate means “to ponder, to mull over”; it implies speaking to yourself. If you are believing for healing, meditate continually on the scriptures that promise healing—while you are working, running errands, cooking, cleaning, driving, etc. Keep God’s Word in the midst of your heart and mind. (See Proverbs 4:20-24.)

Finally, act according to what God has said. As you meditate and speak the Word of God, He will show you how to act on it!

Is There a Proper Way to Make a Stand of Faith for Healing?

Though there is no one formula or law for making your stand of faith for healing, you can find some key principles in Hebrews 4:12-16:

1. Present the Promises. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Hebrews 4:12).

  • Go to the Word of God and find the scriptures that fit your situation (Romans 10:17).
  • Ask the Holy Spirit to show you the promises He desires you to apply (Romans 8:1-16).

2. Pray and Worship God. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do (Hebrews 4:13).

  • Humble yourself before the Lord (James 4:10).
  • Lay the promises before Him (1John 5:15).
  • Hear His wisdom and the instruction of the Holy Spirit (John 16:13).

3. Make Your Petition. Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God…(Hebrews 4:14).

  • Write your petition out as your Word-based declaration of faith (Philippians 4:6).
  • Present it to the high priest of your confession, Jesus.

4. Prepare to Receive. Let us hold fast our profession (Hebrews 4:14).

  • Let faith and patience work together in your life (James 1:3-4).

5. Praise God for the Manifestation of Victory. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace…and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16).

Let every request be accompanied by your thanksgiving to the Lord for His faithfulness to fulfill His promises (Philippians 4:6; 2Corinthians 1:20).
