KENNETH COPELAND MINISTRIES AIDS IN RELIEF EFFORTS

January 26, 2010, by KCM No comments yet

Kenneth Copeland Ministries (KCM) announced today that it has become aware of misleading and potentially damaging misinformation that has been circulated through various news media outlets.  The misinformation falsely suggests that Kenneth Copeland, and the leadership at Kenneth Copeland Ministries, have broken a promise to provide humanitarian aircraft services for all natural disasters on a worldwide basis, and therefore were instrumental in causing people of Haiti additional harm by not having aircraft immediately available.  Furthermore, the claim suggests that there has been a misuse of donated funds related to developing humanitarian aircraft services.

Because KCM cares deeply for its Partners and Friends, the ministry and its leadership would like to clarify any confusion that may result from these allegations.  In 2006 KCM did, in fact, make one of its aircraft available to provide support during the Hurricane Katrina disaster, and also investigated the possibility of providing such assistance for future disasters.  The ministry decided that the best use of resources would be to start a disaster relief fund, and to determine the best course of action on a case by case basis.  All monies that are donated to this fund are used for appropriate disaster relief efforts, and not used for any of the day to day operations at KCM.  Specifically, with regard to Haiti, because of the magnitude of the disaster, the geographic location, the poor conditions for flights in and out, and the vast involvement of the US military and other government agencies, KCM believed that the best course of action was to send targeted funds to disaster relief ministries and organizations that had better access to Haiti on the ground than did KCM.  In addition, KCM also sent relief aid to a Haitian orphanage that the ministry has supported for many years.  KCM continues to financially support ongoing relief efforts.

As our partners and friends know, KCM is primarily a media based teaching ministry, however it invests millions of dollars every year into helping people throughout the world.  KCM pours resources into more than 100 ministries in more than 120 countries.  The ministry gives to churches, evangelistic outreaches, orphanages, youth programs, and rehabilitation centers.  KCM is feeding the hungry, meeting needs of men, women, and children, setting captive hearts free, and ministering faith, hope, and love across the globe.  KCM helps supply over 50,000 inmates with devotional and other products to encourage them every month, answers almost 1,000,000 prayer calls per year, and answers over 1,000,000 pieces of mail.  Furthermore, KCM mails over 500,000 magazines at no cost to the recipients and reaches a potential TV audience of 965 million people worldwide with the life changing message of Jesus Christ.  These are just a few of the outreaches and ministries of KCM.  For a complete list, please go to www.kcm.org.  KCM’s general counsel David Middlebrook of Anthony and Middlebrook, P.C. states:  “Kenneth Copeland Ministries is one of the premier Christian Ministries in the world today and is run with the utmost integrity.  The Church has an annual independent audit and there are no funds that have been misused or unaccounted for.”

2010 – The Best of Times, The Worst of Times

January 14, 2010, by KCM 1 comment

I call heaven and earth to record against you and me that God has placed before us life and death and blessing and cursing.  Choose life.  Choose faith.  Have faith in God.

“Well, what are we going to do in 2010?”

We’re going to have faith in God.

“Well, what if it’s a bad year?”

We’re going to have faith in God.

“What if it’s a good year?”

We’re going to have faith in God.  2010 will be the best of times and the worst of times.  It depends on whose side you’re on.  Turn with me to Jeremiah 17.  Now follow the scripture (tonight) very carefully and very closely.  Listen.  Set yourself right now to be undisturbed by any movement or anything and listen carefully to the Word.  If you will purposely focus then God will draw you in.  And he that hath ears to hear let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church.  Hallelujah.  Jeremiah 17.  “Thus saith the Lord, Cursed be the man that trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm”, or he looks to natural man and natural resources to meet his needs and solve his problems.  “…whose heart departs from the Lord.”

So this is not written to the world.  This is written to believers.  Amen?  “He shall be like the heath in the desert.”  H-e-a-t-h.  That’s only two or three letters away from “heathen” and they both represent the same thing.  The heath in the desert is a little stunted scrubby shrub growing in a salt flat.  You put water on it and it still won’t work because the soil is so bad and so salty that if you put water there it just turns to salt water.  You water it and the thing dies.  This is the person that has a covenant with God but instead of living by faith on that covenant looking to man, his governments, his ways of doing things, every government outside of God is socialism in one form or the other and it began at the Tower of Babel where they said “We will make a name for ourselves and we will not use stone to build.”

Well, what’s wrong with that?  Some of you are looking at me like, “What?”  “We will make brick and mortar.  We will hold it together.”  The problem with that and that’s the first record of socialism under the rule of Nimrod right there because no two stones are alike.  Every stone is an individual; yet you put them altogether and they build a house.  The Body of Christ and the members of the Body of Christ are not referred to as bricks in the house of God.  We are living stones.  There are no two of us alike; yet through the power of God we’re all just alike.  All alike and all different all at the same time.  Now that’s God.  But what is a brick?  Every one of them is just alike and just one right after another after another after another, held together by some manmade slime instead of compacted together by the power of God.  Amen.

Superkid Academy Curriculum to Debut in 2010

December 21, 2009, by KCM 5 comments

super-kid.jpg

Twenty years ago, Commander Kellie and the Superkids were born. From movie adventures to comics and novels, parents and educators have long appreciated their uncompromised message of faith in the Word for their children.

Now, in early 2010, KCM is excited to debut Superkid Academy Curriculum .

superkid.png“It is finally here!” Kellie Copeland Swisher said. “A fast-paced, interactive curriculum with DVDs, object lessons, offerings, outlines for messages—all the things your kids have grown used to at Superkid Academy at our conventions, or at Eagle Mountain International Church.”

With this curriculum, Superkid Academy will appear in churches around the globe and our young people will be raised up as Superkids with a strong foundation: knowing they can make a difference, knowing what it means to live by faith and knowing who they are in Christ.

“By arming young people with the Word and by helping to strengthen their spirits,” said Kellie, “it helps them make right decisions and live anointed lives.”

It’s just one more way KCM is reaching out to children, living out those prophetic words by Kenneth Copeland years ago: “There is no price too big, no effort too great, no job too hard for our God to reach our children. Whatever we must do, we are going to reach our kids.”

Look for news about the early 2010 release of the Superkid Academy Curriculum on TV, in the Believer’s Voice of Victory magazine and on kcm.org.

Kenneth Copeland Commemorates Oral Roberts’s Life of Service

December 16, 2009, by admin 11 comments

Oral Roberts not only changed the direction of Gloria’s and my life but he and his ministry changed the spiritual complexion of the United States and most of the world concerning God’s goodness. His statement, “God is a good God” became a revelation to untold millions of people who up until he opened our eyes, thought God was our problem. He showed us that God was not our problem. He was our Healer. The biggest thing in our own lives and ministry was the revelation of God’s bounty and that it was His will, not only to keep His people in good health, but also in divine prosperity.

The miracle of seed faith is now part of the driving force in the lives of multiple millions of people all over the world, preachers and laymen alike. It’s an awesome thought to go to heaven for Christmas and be met by more than 50 million people that we know of that are there, because they met Jesus through his ministry.

Kenneth Copeland Revisits the Big Screen

September 23, 2009, by KCM 9 comments

kenneth-copeland-the-rally.jpg

This Christmas, watch for the release of the motion picture The Rally, starring Kenneth Copeland, Rick Reyna and T-Bone.

This gritty drama follows several families living in a city riddled with crime and corruption. As the local church works to bring positive change, it is confronted at every turn by those who desire to keep the city and its people in bondage. Only God knows what it will take to unite the city and bring the powers that be to their knees!

One Event…One Church…One God…The Rally.

Directed by Rick Reyna, The Rally represents the fulfillment of a promise. After years of working in Hollywood with names like Michael Mann and Al Pacino, Reyna received the call into full-time ministry. That calling came with one stipulation: “Someday the Lord will have us make Him a movie.” The Rally is that movie.

More than merely an entertaining film, The Rally is the opportunity for believers worldwide to be part of bringing 1 million souls into the kingdom of God. Visit www.therallymovie.com for updates and to find out how you can play a vital role in changing lives through this powerful film.

Take a look at The Rally movie trailer or watch it on YouTube.

Kenneth Copeland Ministries donates bibles to wiley collegeDid you know that when you give to Kenneth Copeland Ministries you are helping many other ministries? We’re pleased to share that we are donating 500 Bibles to Wiley College. Each freshman will receive a complimentary copy!

Wiley College, noted for its high academic standards and historic debate team featured in the 2008 movie “The Great Debaters”, directed by Mr. Denzel Washington, will receive over $8,000 worth of study Bibles for its 2009 freshman class.

Dr. Joseph L. Morale, Vice President for Student Affairs stated. “This gift will allow Wiley College to create a new tradition of providing each new student with a Bible. This is a gift that will truly keep on giving! Our heartfelt thanks are extended to the Copeland Ministry for their donation of these 500 Bibles.”

Founded in 1873 by Bishop Isaac T. Wiley, an outstanding minister, medical missionary and educator, Wiley College holds the distinction as one of the oldest historically black colleges west of the Mississippi River. Located in Marshall, TX, the 135 year old institution is affiliated with The United Methodist Church.

Kenneth & Gloria Copeland have long had a passion for investing in students lives. “A vital part of our 40+ years in ministry has been spreading God’s Word. We are truly grateful that Wiley College has allowed this ministry through our ministry partners and their donations to invest in these college students. We know the scriptures can be the cornerstone to help guide these young lives and have eternal impact.”
