I learned to live a life of sowing from your ministry over the past 20 years. It has totally changed my life from one of "what's in it for me" to "how can I make this person feel good today?" Living like this, looking outwardly to see how to meet other people's needs, is such a wonderful, fun way to live.

I have so much fun blessing others and it opens a door to share the goodness of God with them, no matter what lifestyle they come from or live in. They are so amazed at something God told me to give them so while they are standing there amazed, I slip in that God told me to share with them. Do you know that not one person has been offended? Almost without fail, tears come to their eyes. God is so good.

Imagine! I've gone from a poor, inwardly thinking single parent to a blessed woman able to give and give and give. Everything I own now is just something that might be sowed someday. Without your teachings, I may never have reached that point - letting go, opening my hand, sowing, instead of holding on to "stuff". Thank you!!

I can attest to the truth of this. Just before Christmas I received a very nice package from a blogger in Australia. It was quite unexpected and such a wonderful surprise filled with goodies from her country. After receiving it I was a bit upset because I didn't have the manifested finances as yet to purchase things to give to others. So I felt that I had nothing to give to others, but I was looking at it only from a financial standpoint.

I emailed her to thank her and when she emailed me back she said that she wanted to give me something nice for Christmas because I had been so kind to her with encouragement and support during a recent difficult moment in her life.

So I am a witness to the fact that we all have something to offer others...it may be different depending on the seasons of our lives, but that 'something' is there as the above article says...even if for right now it is only a smile, or a kind word of encouragement. And those are sometimes the best things to give.

Thank you Kenneth and Gloria.

I wish you many blessings,
Marianne
